The challenge was to educate US interventional cardiologists about the superiority of intravascular lithotripsy for the treatment of calcium, on the eve of their FDA approval.
Pre-procedural planning
So we teamed up with Shockwave to produce the ‘Calcium Masterclass’: a high quality, peer-to-peer education program, that attracted over 5500 cardiologists, who spent an average of 28 minutes each learning about the procedure and Shockwave.
The procedure
Together with Optima Education, we created 10 high-impact classes covering everything from calcium basics to complex patient cases. We also engaged Professor James Spratt and a world-class cardiovascular faculty from Europe & the USA, live from their London studio.
The outcome
We helped Shockwave dramatically reduce the time from product launch to adoption across all approved markets, delivering 271% revenue growth.
